Saba Hameed

Saba Hameed is one of the most respected TV actresses of Pakistan and has been doing amazing work for decades with her strong performances. Born in Lahore on 21st June 1957, she is the daughter of the writer and columnist Hameed Akhtar. Saba started her acting career in 1978 and got into the limelight with dramas like Mere Humsafar, Pyarey Afzal, Main Abdul Qadir Hoon and Family Front. She is well known for her ability to portray emotional and tough roles with ease and has been able to remain at the top of her game in every era. But Saba is not just on the TV, she has also appeared in movies such as Punjab Nahi Jaungi and Jawani Phir Nahi Ani. She’s married to actor Waseem Abbas, and was previously married to Sayed Parvaiz Shafi. Saba is the mother of two children, Meesha Shafi and Faris Shafi. For her work in entertainment, she’s received Pakistan’s Pride of Performance award
