Nauman Ijaz

Nauman Ijaz is a veteran Pakistani television and film actor, born on 14 February 1965 in Lahore, Punjab, and active in the industry since 1989. He has appeared as a senior actor on state television PTV throughout his career, taking on a wide range of roles across roughly 175 television series as of 2014. Before turning to acting, Ijaz trained as a lawyer, studying at Punjab University, and he holds an LLB degree. Alongside his acting work, he has also built a strong presence as a television host and anchorperson, notably hosting the popular chat show "G Sarkar" on Neo News HD. His body of work has earned him significant recognition, including 10 Lux Style Awards, 7 Hum Awards, and the President's Pride of Performance award, which he received in 2012 from then-President Asif Ali Zardari. One of his notable film credits includes the critically acclaimed 2008 film "Ramchand Pakistani," in which he starred alongside Nandita Das. He is married to Rabia Noman and has three children, including his son Zaviyar Nauman Ijaz, who has followed him into acting.
