Marina Khan is a Senior Pakistani television and film actress, director, and producer. She was born on 26 December 1962 in Peshawar, Pakistan. Marina was one of the most popular actresses of the 1980s and 1990s. She has appeared much Famous drama serials Tanhaiyan, Dhoop Kinare, Kohar , Nijaat, Tum Se Kehna Tha, and Tanha. Marina’s debut series Tanhaiyan was followed by Tanhaiyan Naye Silsile, a sequel to her mid-2000s exit. In 2016, Khan made her film debut with Lala Begum, playing the title role. Marina Khan starred in a PTV drama honoring Pakistan’s national hero Rashid Minhas Shaheed, who was killed during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971. Tanhaiyaan became her breakthrough drama. She rose to fame with Tanhaiyaan, which became an enormous hit among Pakistani audiences. Later Marina took up directing and production as professions and had a cooking show of her own. In 2007, She hosted Marina Mornings for ARY Digital. In 2016, She appeared in Mehreen Jabbar’s short film Lala Begum. In 2016, Zeal for Unity presented the film at the Mosaic International South Asian Film Festival. The actress played a cameo role in Punjab Nahi Jaongi and reoccurred in Na Maloom Afraad 2, as well as Parwaaz Hai Junoon. She got married to a Christian man Jalil Akhtar who likewise belongs to the Showbiz industry. Though their parents didn’t attend the wedding due to religious differences, afterward, they agreed on this marriage. They have no child. Marina Khan is known for her down-to-earth personality and is a well reputed celebrity of the industry.
